Afghan Charity Week is honoured to be fundraising for Mothers of Afghanistan and their Widow Sponsorship project. In Afghanistan, many widowed mothers are left to support their children alone while facing poverty, insecurity, and limited access to opportunities.

In 2025, Afghan Charity Week proudly supported a transformative initiative with Afghanaid, addressing food insecurity and empowering women in Afghanistan’s most remote rural communities.

Afghan Charity Week’s 2024 initiative focused on tackling educational inequality by providing free, quality education and essential learning resources to orphaned and underprivileged children across Afghanistan.

Afghan Charity Week’s 2023 initiative focused on delivering a life-changing Water and Sanitation Hygiene project in Kabul, providing clean and safe water to over 500 families in need.

Afghan Charity Week’s 2022 initiative focused on the Al-Mouwasat Ambulance initiative and the HRM Blood Donation Programme, helping provide life-saving blood and emergency care for patients affected by conflict, accidents, and medical complications.

Afghan Charity Week’s 2021 initiative supported children with disabilities in Afghanistan through the Window of Hope Orphanage, providing long-term access to education, healthcare, and safe accommodation for some of the most vulnerable children.

Afghan Charity Week’s 2020 initiative supported street-working orphaned children in Kabul by providing school access, supplies, clothing, and family support, empowering them to leave work and pursue an education.
